Doc Joseph McGaugh was an amazing 13 year old young man. He loved hunting and fishing and would spend every moment he could outdoors. We remember him from our local hunts in Amite County. The one thing we remember most about Doc were his prayers. When asked to pray before meals he would pray with the maturity of a 30 year old who walked with Christ daily. He truly was an amazing young man. 

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Doc’s memory. Therefore, we have set up a Doc Joseph McGaugh Memorial Fund that will help with our Refuge Hunting Camps for youth hunters. We loved having Doc in camp and will tell his story for years to come.
