REFUGE LAND PROGRAM

What if you were able to invest in a program that ensures youth hunters have a place to learn to enjoy creation, practice conservation, and follow Christ forever?

That is exactly what the Refuge Land Program is designed to do.

We have spent the last 12 years leasing and borrowing land in order to host our Refuge Hunting Camps and programs. While we feel that this will continue to be a part of our plan we also realize that the opportunities for leases are harder and harder to come by. Knowing this we began to think about the future and how we could ensure that youth had a place to participate in the programs of Rain Down Ministries for the future.

Our answer to the issues we are facing is the Refuge Land Program.

Through the Refuge Land Program we plan to PURCHASE property for the purposes of:

  • hosting Refuge Hunting Camps and RDM programs
  • managing the property for wildlife habitat
  • educating the public on how to enjoy creation, practice conservation, and follow Christ

We view the Refuge Land Program as a LEGACY LAND FUND where every donation is an investment that will live on perpetually. The Refuge Land Program ensures that your donation becomes an investment that gains a return in the lives of youth forever. 

JASPER COUNTY MS REFUGE

The Jasper County MS Refuge is 372 acres of mixed hardwood and pine timber with several creeks and rolling hills. The habitat and hunting plan for this Refuge was done by Matt Dye and Adam Keith of Land and Legacy. They have created what they call a “wildlife factory.”

Each year we have the opportunity to host over 100 youth hunters in our Refuge Hunting Camps and hundreds more in our Sportsman’s Challenge events. We are seeing lives changed with the truth of God’s Word through the programs of Rain Down Ministries.
